This study deals with the methods of praise and defamation in the Noble Qur’an, along with a statistical study of the number of their appearances in the Noble Qur’an. The study aimed to identify the types of expressions for the methods of praise and slander used in the Noble Qur’an, to identify the Qur’an verses in which the methods of praise and slander are found explicitly and without explicitly, and to analyze the Qur’anic verses in which the methods of praise and slander are mentioned in an explicit and non-explicit manner. The research answers common questions on this topic, including: What are the expressions of the methods of praise and slander in the Holy Quran? And secondly, what are the Qur’anic verses in which there are methods of express and slander praise? Finally, which method is used the most in the Holy Quran? The researcher applied the qualitative approach to this study, and the researcher relied on the descriptive and analytical method to verify the research objectives. The researcher extracted the evidences from the Holy Qur’an related to explicit and non-explicit praise and slander. The researcher has reached some results, including: The methods most used in the Noble Qur’an are the outright slandering methods. The methods used least in the Holy Quran are the methods of non-explicit praise.
