About the Journal

The Jurnal Pengajian Islam (Journal of Islamic Studies) is an academic journal published annually by the Research Development Center of the Selangor International Islamic University College (KUIS). It was first published in 2006 and continued until 2014. However, the journal was not published in 2009 and 2013 due to technical and management issues. The six journals previously published in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2012 were in conventional print format. In 2014, the Islamic Academy Journal Publication Committee decided to publish the 2014 journal and subsequent issues as online journals or e-journals.

The articles published are related to themes such as Arabic Language and Literature Studies, Usuluddin and Philosophy, Shariah and Law, Dakwah, and Quran and Sunnah. These articles are written in Malay, English, or Arabic. The journal's publication aims to advance the field of Islamic Studies in its various branches as mentioned. It is hoped to serve as a medium for academics to present their views in their areas of expertise. The journal articles published are suitable as reading materials and reference sources for academics, students, and researchers.

Frequency of Publication
This journal is published biannually, with issues released in May and November each year.
