Aim & Scopes
With the inclusion of original, peer-reviewed research, case studies, and reports from a wide range of worldwide authors, JPI seeks to serve as a unified scholarly platform for the transmission of knowledge and research on current Islamic concerns. The editorial board welcomes accepts unique submissions in Arabic, English, and Bahasa Melayu that have not yet been published or are not currently being considered for publication by any other publisher. By placing Islamic sciences as its primary focus and encouraging its authors to thoroughly study the various elements of Islam, JPI offers a favourable venue for scholars and researchers to publish their current and notable research to support academic inquiry.
The following are the journal's specific objectives:
- To offer a recognised and well-respected forum for the publication of excellent research in the fields of modern Islamic concerns.
- To foster conversations about novel theoretical and empirical insights into current issues in Islam.
- To encourage a wide-ranging exchange of knowledge between academics and specialists in Islam's many interdisciplinary domains, both locally and globally, and not just inside Southeast Asia.
- To communicate ground-breaking research that examines how important topics interact from an Islamic perspective.
