Abstract

The discourse on compassion and gentleness in the circle of healthcare is typically meant to be delivered to patients to fulfil their rights throughout tracks of healing. As patient interest is necessary, so is the humanitarian need of healthcare team. Notwithstanding, upon referring to current research, there are reports prove the occurrence of abuse endured by semi-skilled members of healthcare. Thus, the research recommends the issuance of decisions and rules in preventing violences against them, without putting into the consideration the potential of religious awareness in the venture. Indeed, the moral values in treating healthcare members are there in Islamic scripture. Hereby, this study aims to disclose the teaching enshrined in Chapter of Medicine in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhāriy to fill the vacuum. This study employs a qualitative approach as it collects data through literature review. Then the collected data are to be interpreted through contextual analysis. Ultimately, this study manages to learn the recognition of Islam to the humanity of all members of healthcare in acquiring knowledge and experiences, earning wages and receiving good treatments.
