This research aims to identify the problems in learning Arabic grammar among students of the Academy of Islamic and Arabic Studies, Princess of Naradhiwas University in Thailand and diagnose its causes. And to enhance their linguistic competence, given that Arabic grammar at the Academy of Islamic and Arabic Studies, Princess of Naradhiwas University is a compulsory course for learners in all academic departments to learn. The researcher followed the analytical descriptive approach in collecting and analyzing information and data, and used the questionnaire as a tool for data collection, and it was distributed to a research sample of (97) male and female students. The research reached many results, the most important of which are:
- Students face many problems in learning Arabic grammar, most of which are related to the method of teaching and its educational style from the learners' point of view.
- The communicative method is one of the most important and successful new educational methods. It is preferred and suitable for teaching Arabic grammar, and important for renewing its teaching method, because the communicative method seeks to empower communicative skills.
- There are needs of the learners to design a special model in teaching Arabic grammar in the academy, and there are needs to apply the Arabic language and practice it in linguistic communication in life, and there are also needs to evaluate curricula, courses or courses to train them with communicative competence.
