Abstract

Fokus kajian ini ialah tentang kaedah i-Tasmi’ Tahfiz yang telah diperkenalkan di UiTM Cawangan Terengganu. Ia adalah satu kaedah latih tubi bagi membantu pelajar-pelajar menghafal ayat-ayat al-Quran. Objektif kajian ialah menjelaskan persepsi pelajar terhadap penggunaan i-Tasmi’ dan korelasi penggunaan i-Tasmi’ Tahfiz terhadap proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP) pelajar universiti. Penyelidik menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Kajian rintis telah dijalankan untuk menunjukkan keberkesanan i-Tasmi’ Tahfiz di UiTM Terengganu. Responden kajian terdiri daripada pelajar yang terlibat dengan kelas pengajian tasmi’ al-Quran di UiTM Cawangan Terengganu Kampus Dungun. Penyelidik menggunakan soal selidik sebagai instrumen kajian disamping kaedah perpustakaan, temu bual dan pemerhatian. Jawapan yang diberikan oleh responden dianalisa dengan menggunakan perisian Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) versi 22. Data dianalisa dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk mendapatkan nilai min dan peratus. Kajian mendapati terdapat korelasi penggunaan i-Tasmi’ dalam membantu kecemerlangan pelajar. Justeru, penyelidik mencadangkan penggunaan sistem ini dikekalkan dan ditambah baik sebagai satu aplikasi dan inovasi yang dapat terus digunakan untuk merekod bacaan al-Quran para pelajar. Dengan perkembangan teknologi dan penggunaan telefon pintar yang amat luas, i-Tasmi’ boleh diaplikasikan kepada para pelajar universiti dan sekaligus dapat membantu meningkatkan pencapaian akademik dan ko-kurikulum mereka. Secara tidak langsung ini dapat membantu pencapaian untuk bergeraduat dalam masa yang ditetapkan (GOT).

The focus of this study is about the i-Tasmi' Tahfiz method that was introduced at the UiTM Cawangan Terengganu.  The i-Tasmi’ method is aimed at aiding students in intensively memorizing the Quran. The objective of the study is to explain the students' perceptions of the i-Tasmi application and its correlation towards teaching and learning at the university. The researchers use both qualitative and quantitative approaches in the study. The respondents of the studies were students that were involved in tasmi’ Al-Quran classes at UiTM Cawangan Terengganu, Dungun Campus. In this study, researchers used questionnaires as research instruments in addition to library research, interviews and observations. The respondents feedback and information were analyzed by the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 22. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics in order to obtain a mean value and percentage. The study has found that there is a correlation between the usage of i-Tasmi and aiding student excellence. Therefore, researchers suggest that i-Tasmi’ application is to continue in usage with some improvements and innovations in recording Al-Quran. With the technological advancement and wide usage of smartphones, i-Tasmi’ could be widely applied among university students towards better academic and co-curricular achievements. Hence, the application of i-Tasmi’ could also aid in achieving on-time graduation (GOT).
